Karna, one of the major characters of the Mahabharata, was a great warrior. He was the first and spiritual son of Kunti (the wife of Pandu) and thus the half-brother of Pandava brothers. Karna was also called Vasusena, Anga-raja and Radheya. He was appointed as king of Anga by Duryodhana.
